Something different
Its not just quartz based products! OnSpec has recently been given the
task of designing a control unit for a 36" reflector telescope at the
University of Cambridge observatory. Because the frequency of mains electricity
is not constant the telescope cannot track the sky consistently so OnSpec
have designed a control unit which measures the frequency of the electricity
and adjusts the output to the motor to compensate. Please
